Jetty Fisher Terms of Use
Last updated: August 25, 2026
These terms cover jettyfisher.com and the Jetty Fisher iOS and Android apps
(com.jettyfisher.app), made by Andrew Dall at emaration.site.
By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them.
The app is advisory
Jetty Fisher helps you plan a fishing trip. It is not legal advice, not a substitute for a measuring board, and not a substitute for current ODFW Marine Zone regulations. Closures move. Yelloweye and quillback go back. You are responsible for what you keep. Crab, clams, and mussels from the same rocks live on crabkeeper.com.
Your account
- You must be 13 or older.
- Use a real email you control. We use it to reset access and to delete the account if you ask.
- Don’t impersonate a shop, an agency, or another person.
- Email/password is how the iOS and Android apps sign in. Google sign-in is website-only.
What you post
You keep ownership of your photos and notes. You give us a license to host them so the app can show them. Public spots, public catch logs, and comments can be seen by other users. Secret spots stay secret. Don’t post anyone’s personal information. Don’t post illegal harvest. We may remove content that breaks these terms or the law.
The free app and Pro
The store apps are free. Map, tides, spots, shops, harvest guides, and the catch log are included. Some features (camera identify, aerial overlay, offline bay packs) are Pro and invite-only. There is no in-app purchase in this version. We do not sell subscriptions outside Apple or Google.
Shops
Bait-shop listings are independent of expert tips. “Sponsored” means paid placement when that flag is on. Claiming a listing does not make it yours until we confirm.
Acceptable use
- Don’t scrape, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
- Don’t use the camera identify output as a keep/release decision without a gauge and the current rules.
- Don’t treat the map as a nautical chart for navigation.
The service can change
Tides, closures, and tiles come from upstreams we don’t control. We can change or stop features. The app is provided as-is. Oregon law applies, excluding conflict-of-law rules.
